About Author

Hi there, my name is Kelvin Ke Jinde.

I have been a lecturer at various colleges and universities including Singapore Institute of Technology, Lasalle College of the Arts, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, SUSS and ITE.

I am interested in film and media practice. My research interests include film and cultural studies. I am particularly interested in examining the relationship between film and East Asian Philosophy, postcolonial studies and contemporary world cinema.

This blog is a platform for me consolidate and share my thoughts on matters relating to film, culture, and philosophy. Apparently, according to a Gallup strengths finder analysis, my top 5 strengths are; (1) Learner, Relator, Self-Assurance, Individualisation, Intellection.

Thank you for visiting.
