Three Quarter Flesh

Staring in the darkness
I am reminded of how inadequate I am
Reporting no more than a clunky flesh

Half formed – Three Quarters of a Whole

Confused by the pale light of night
I fashioned a brand new set of me
Violently to be recognised and loved

Not waiting to be rendered whole

Darkness stares rightly back at me
Not knowing if I should run or flee
Standing alone I am standing free

Staring back as still as I can be
